Export from Paraguay is heavily dependent on river transportation via the Parana and the Paraguay Rivers. We will meet the demand for mass transportation of grains and minerals to deal with increasing exports. These products can be shipped from the local river ports with the barges and pusher tugs built in our shipyard to the large harbors where they are transshipped to the larger ocean-going ships. We aim to establish this shipping network in order to keep shipping costs to a minimum and thus contribute to the development and economic growth of the inland regions.
