Our shipyard is building flat bottomed barges which are expected to be more in demand as a means of river transportation. The primary shipping method of grains produced in Paraguay and western Brazil is changing from the conventional land transport with trucks to cheaper river transportation with barges. The importance of barge shipping is expected to become greater and we are committed to responding to this demand and thus contributing to the revitalization of the river transportation system by building more barges in Paraguay as quickly as we can.
